October is #FamilyHistoryMonth, and we're starting off with a photo (one of many) that has been shared with us by Debra Haas, great granddaughter of Harold Endacott. The house in this photo once stood where Cranky's Bike Shop is now located. The store is in the second house that is also mentioned in the caption, which was built by Richard Endacott.
It's important to note, that if Debra hadn't shared photos from her Grandmother's album with us, we might never have seen some of the long-gone buildings (and people) in our community. We are very grateful to Debra for her ongoing support of our efforts to learn about and preserve Aldergrove's history. If you have old family albums, please consider sharing them with us - we can even scan and return them to you, complete with digital copies.
