Many may think that the high number of motor vehicle accidents at the 264th Street interchange on Highway 1 is a relatively new phenomena. No, sadly, it's not. That interchange has been cursed since the highway was built.

A little community pride goes a long way. The former Aldergrove Revitilization Committee (later Aldergrove Community Enhancement) had a strong team of dedicated business owners and volunteers who spent many hours improving downtown and developing a set of design guidelines for building exterior renovations and new construction. Somehow the guidelines seem to have been forgotten about as new construction does not follow the vision the team had of small town charm.

Something that we have not failed to notice is how many local businesses sponsored #youthsports teams throughout the year. Many businesses sponsored a team in the "big 4" leagues - hockey, soccer, baseball and ringette. All of those businesses - past and present - should be proud of their ongoing support for these teams, some over several decades, not to mention the coaches, assistant coaches and team parents.
