I came across two interesting articles about the Aldergrove Hotel this morning, and for those who have debated as to when the name was changed to the Alder Inn, one of these articles has the answer. Whatever your feelings about the bar side of the hotel, you could almost always get a decent meal in the hotel's cafe/restaurant for a decent price. It's also nice that the 1967 article gives some background about the Frank family.
