There weren't any news bits from CFS Aldergrove in December 1971, so I had a look through the November news and found that the Navy wives helped the Legion's Ladies Auxiliary serve lunch after the Remembrance Day ceremony, and there were a couple of serious soccer matches held up at the base on the weekend of November 7th. A bit sad that there weren't any photos of the match published in the paper.
