Who remembers the Fire Safety House coming to your school? The fire department didn't have the house when I was in school, but it was always a favourite attraction for my kids. They took their "Stop, Drop and Roll" skills very seriously. My daughter also took the babysitting course that was offered both at schools and at Blair Pool.

Aldergrove saw two new businesses open in June 1976, one of which was Aldergrove Market. Many will remember Fred Boyd as an avid supporter of local youth groups, especially sports. He served as a ringette coach for several years. How many of you out there also played on the Aldergrove Market ringette team?
