Alder Grove Heritage Society is pleased to announce the Community Builder Awards. These two new annual awards will be presented at Community Heritage Day, which this year is being held on Saturday 19 August 2023 at the Aldergrove Community Museum & Archives.
There are two categories, one for a current Aldergrove resident and one that is awarded posthumously in recognition of a past Community Builder, which will be decided upon by the AGHS Board of Directors.
The current resident Community Builder Award is open for nominations until 5pm PDT, 16 July 2023. The nominations will then be viewed and a winner chosen by a 5 member committee comprised of 3 AGHS directors plus 1 director each from the Aldergrove Business Association and the Aldergrove Community Association.
Criteria for the current resident award is very simple: A current resident of any age who is an active volunteer (community organization/club members, coaches, etc) making a positive impact in the Aldergrove community.
